I'm Harri Filipczak and a Full-Stack Developer

I am a junior-level software developer with a background in computer science, currently transitioning back into the IT field through hands-on, full-stack development.

I am currently studying full-stack development at kood/Sisu, a peer-to-peer programming school focused on independent learning, peer reviews, and long-term responsibility for one’s own progress.

Kood Sisu’s learning model emphasizes independence, peer reviews, and real responsibility. Students have to plan their own schedules and review each other’s work. Progress through major milestones every six months as technologies and specializations change.

This is a challenging yet gratifying environment to learn and I find myself learning much faster here than through conventional studies so far.

I approach programming in a prototype-first, iterative way: I prefer getting something working quickly and then refining it step by step, rather than over-planning upfront. I enjoy problem-solving, building practical solutions, and gradually improving code quality and structure.
